When I donate to Pooch Savers, where do the funds go?

Your donation does so much more than cover one medical bill - it helps give a dog an entirely new beginning.

Many of the dogs who come to Pooch Savers need more than food and a safe place to stay. Some arrive needing urgent veterinary care, surgery, medication, vaccinations, dental treatment, behavioral support, or time to recover before they are ready for adoption. Others may need basic supplies, transportation, grooming, or ongoing care while they wait for the right family.

We never want cost to determine whether a dog gets the help they need. When a pup comes to us, we provide care first and then ask our community to help us recover those expenses so we can continue saying “yes” to the next dog in need.

Your donation helps provide:

Emergency and routine veterinary care
Spay and neuter procedures
Vaccinations, medications, and preventatives
Food, bedding, crates, and other essential supplies
Grooming and rehabilitation
Transportation and rescue expenses
Support for dogs with special medical or behavioral needs

Special Needs Pups Need Special Support

Occasionally, a dog arrives with an urgent or complex need that requires immediate attention. We do not wait to begin treatment. We approve the care, cover the cost, and then turn to our generous supporters for help.

By contributing to these special cases, you help us replenish our rescue funds and ensure we are ready when the next emergency arrives. Because of you, we can continue opening our doors, providing lifesaving care, and helping more dogs find loving homes.
